How can you help?

At Birmingham Crisis Centre our highly trained support workers understand the needs and vulnerabilities of women who have suffered abuse and support them from the moment they enter refuge through to starting a new life in a new home.
How can you get involved?

  • Volunteer with us: do you have a skill that you would love to share and time to give? We are always in need of volunteers to help us continue our work. If you would like to get involved, please contact us on 0121 554 6059 or email enquiries@birminghamcrisis.org.uk.
  • Fundraise for us: there are lots of ways that you can support the Birmingham Crisis Centre, from organising a cake sale, to a sponsored run, or even a knitathon. If you would like to get involved, please contact us on 0121 554 6059 or email enquiries@birminghamcrisis.org.uk.
  • Donate unwanted items: many of the families we support had to leave their homes quickly, leaving behind many of their possessions, including clothes and their child’s favourite toy. The families have to set up a new home, from the beginning. We are always very grateful for donations, from clothes, toiletries, toys and baby items (from bottles to prams), to furniture and starter equipment for a new home. If you would like to organise a collection, please contact us on 0121 554 6059 or email enquiries@birminghamcrisis.org.uk.

On behalf of everyone at Birmingham Crisis Centre, thank you for your help.

Without your support we would not have a safe place to live for ourselves or our children”.
